    Thomas Hofer<\/h4>

    Electrical engineering was always on the track throughout his professional life. Among other things, Thomas Hofer gained experience in drawing electrical schematics, design of electrical cabinets, product testing, as a system engineer and as a team leader. He keeps track of things in every situation and always sees the big picture. In recent years, he has focused on the increasingly complex approval process, and in particular on the risk management process via the Common Safety Method (CSM) and the area of functional safety. He is the primary point of contact for these areas, a certified \u201cFunctional Safety Engineer,\u201d and the managing director. <\/i><\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Markus Fankhauser immersed himself in engineering for many years before delving into the subject of approval. His experience in design, integration and commissioning of a wide range of vehicle systems gives him an overall view that is particularly important in vehicle approval. However, he got on the train much earlier, namely with the first toy train as Christimas gift. His focus is on requirements capture and verification in the area of TSI (NoBo) and national regulations (DeBo). <\/i>

    Xaver Bachler<\/h4>

    Xaver Bachler took an unconventional route into the railway industry. After graduating from technical college, he completed a blacksmithing apprenticeship. His structured approach to work enabled him to combine a career in construction with studying for a degree in mechanical engineering. Three years ago, he moved into the rail vehicle sector, where he has gained experience in areas ranging from engineering to regulatory compliance management. In his current role as a regulatory compliance and certification engineer at PJ Motion, he successfully guides customers through the complex regulatory approval process. <\/i><\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Lukas Witting<\/h4>

    The youngest member of the team studied mechanical engineering after graduating from technical college. He then entered the rail vehicle industry, where he gained experience across a wide range of projects, from ETCS integration to the construction of new speciality vehicles. At PJ Motion, he will provide key support on safety matters in accordance with CSM\/EN 50126 and approvals under the 4th Railway Package. His analytical mindset was evident from childhood, when he was particularly fascinated by complex technical toys and puzzles. He is still passionate about the interplay between mechanics and electronics today. <\/i><\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Josef Hadrigan has been fascinated by railways since childhood; his first toy was even a wooden train set. He has since accumulated 26 years of experience and expertise in the railway industry. He began his career with an apprenticeship as an electrical mechanic, and has since become familiar with numerous facets and corporate structures, immersing himself in various specialised fields along the way. Joachim Wagner is a \u2018Certified Senior Project Manager (IPMA Level B)\u2019.     Thanks to his cultural competence and expertise in cross-functional collaboration, Lorenz Kochan has successfully launched numerous complex projects in many countries. He acquired the necessary skills from a variety of roles, such as a manufacturing engineer, project engineer and project manager in large-scale projects.
