PJM wurde 2006 in Graz gegründet. Around 90 employees at the Graz site ensure that everything is ‘100% Made in Austria’. Research and development, hardware and software development, production and administration are all based exclusively in Austria.

As an accredited test facility according to ISO/IEC 17025, PJ Messtechnik GmbH carries out approval tests of rail vehicles worldwide. These include, for example, the Mountaineer in Canada, the regional train TILO, the S-Bahn in Berlin or the subways in Chicago, Ryadh and London.

PJ Monitoring GmbH is a technology leader in the automation and digitalisation of rail freight transport. It has equipped Europe’s most intelligent freight train, among other projects.

RCC Railway Competence and Certification GmbH is an accredited inspection body under ISO/IEC 17065 and specialises in certifications and safety assessments.

EMC Rail Services GmbH specialises in EMC measurements, such as radiated electromagnetic disturbances, radio protection or compatibility with track circuits.

INFRATRACK Solutions GmbH operates a test and innovation centre at the site of the decommissioned Mellach coal-fired power plant in Austria.

PJM Swiss GmbH

PJM Swiss is PJM’s newest location, based in Switzerland. Based in Thalwil, the new company offers a comprehensive range of rail vehicle services, covering everything from design and engineering to accredited testing, final certification and approval.

With the team and consulting services of PJ Motion GmbH, the PJM Group is further expanding its portfolio and expertise. The PJM companies and specialised partner companies thus offer a full-service package for the approval of new and refurbished rail vehicles. The all-round service covers the entire process from the first steps of requirements verification in the course of approval management to the conducting of vehicle tests.
